West Milford Wild Fire Update 
Morning Update: We attended the briefing with NJ/NY state fire officials this morning. Crews have been deployed to their designated locations to continue operations, and many resources are on standby for additional support. Currently, there are no evacuations in effect. If an evacuation becomes necessary, you will be informed through OEM, Nixel, and in-person door-to-door notifications. We will ensure direct communication during any evacuation. Containment is still at zero percent. Please stay tuned for further updates. You may notice fire activity nearby; please be advised that controlled back burns will be taking place. Fire suppression teams are ready and will be staged throughout the area for structure protection. Road closures Parts of East Shore Rd, Awosting Rd, Beach Rd, please avoid should avoid the area.
