Residents and Motorists traveling through the Ridgefield area, please be aware that tomorrow, Monday, roadway paving operations will be occurring in Ridgefield Park. Paving on the Bergen Turnpike, which is the continuation of Hendrick's Causeway, from Teaneck Road to the Hendrick's Causeway water bridge. The Hendrick's Causeway will be closed at Broad Avenue at approximately 7am. Local traffic will be allowed in the area west of Broad Avenue. Traffic Officers will be screening motorists at Broad Avenue to reduce congestion before the closure at the bridge. Access to Teaneck Road will not be available. Significant congestion is expected so plan ahead for delays. Plan an alternate route which should include utilizing Route 46 to cross the river. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.  Stay alert so you don't get hurt.
