Brown Water Alert in the Southeast Corner of Town: Resolved
The brown water issue in the southeast corner of the city has been resolved. Earlier today, a water main break occurred during the installation of a new main on Marquette by a city contractor, which caused temporary discoloration of the water.
If you are still experiencing brown water, please run cold water from the faucet closest to your water meter to flush your household system. This is NOT a boil water advisory, and your water is SAFE to use.
If the issue persists, please contact the Garden City Department of Public Works at 734-793-1800 or online at www.GardenCityMI.org/FixIt
