Full Notification

The State is currently in a Level 3 Burn Ban, meaning there are supposed to be no open fires set on public or private property unless they are propane, natural gas, or electric grills. Charcoal grills, fire pits, outdoor ovens, burning of leaves,  etc are banned until further advised by the State EPA or Division of Forestry Fire Service. As such the Fire Chiefs and Fire Prevention Bureau may ask that we issue a summons for Boro Ordinance 216-6 which prohibits an Unapproved Outdoor fire.
