Full Notification

A contractor working for the City of Oneonta will be removing a water valve tomorrow, Wed., 11/13/24 on Railroad Ave. at Delaware Ave.,  beginning at 8:00am. Delaware Ave will be closed at Lewis Street for the duration of the work.  All traffic and deliveries will need to follow detour signs.  Vehicles needing to get to Railroad Ave are advised to use Rose Ave.  

There will be a temorary water outage around 10:00am that should only affect Delaware Ave and is expected to be down until work is completed.  After water service is restored, you may experience a change in water color and/or pressure.  This is a common, temporary occurrence and is not a cause for alarm.

Please use caution and obey all temporary traffic control devices.
