Wilmington Police arrest man in connection to attempted bank robbery:
Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection to an attempted bank robbery.
On November 8, at approximately 11:41 a.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 200 block of North Union Street in reference to an attempted bank robbery. Upon arrival, responding officers obtained a description of the suspect and provided that description to units in the area. A short time later, members of the Elsmere Police Department were in the 900 block of New Road when they observed a male subject matching the suspect description. Police made contact with 34-year-old Quincy Taylor, who was found to be wanted on an unrelated matter, and was taken into custody without incident.
Taylor has been charged with the following offense in addition to an outstanding warrant:
- Attempted Robbery (Second Degree)
