Deputies Respond to Report of Gunfire Heard and Arrest Three Men for Negligent Discharge of a Firearm

LOCATION: 8000 Block of Vineyard Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT(S): Jobanpreet Singh, Age 28, Resident of Rancho Cucamonga
Bhagwant Singh, Age 23, Resident of Rancho Cucamonga
Karanjit Singh, Age 26, Resident of Rancho Cucamonga
SUMMARY: On Monday, November 11, 2024, at approximately 8:50 p.m., Rancho Cucamonga deputies responded to a call reference shots heard. During an area check, deputies learned of the approximate location from where the shots were fired. Deputies located fired cartridge casings on the ground near an apartment and quickly detained the occupants. Deputies also found a loaded firearm with no serial number and an empty box of ammunition in the residence.
The occupants, later identified as J. Singh, B. Singh, and K. Singh, were transported to the West Valley Detention Center and booked for PC 246.3- Willfull Discharge of Firearm with Gross Negligence.
