The City of Amsterdam announces that due to continued utility work on Steadwell Avenue the following road closure and detour will remain in place through Friday, November 15, 2024 from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. DAILY:
- Steadwell Avenue - Guy Park Avenue to Golf Course Road will be closed;
- St. Mary’s Hospital Emergency Room Entrance will be accessible from the Guy Park Avenue entrance.
Signs and DPW personnel will be posted.
Drivers are asked to take alternate routes during this time, as no traffic will be allowed through the work zone.
