Fire Update - Morning briefing indicates the fire has moved to the northeast side of Blue Lake near Long Meadow Rd. This was expected to occur and the firebreaks tthat were created over the last 2 days are HOLDING and containing the fire as planned. If you see flames and smoke in this vicinity, do not panic.  Firefighters will be monitoring from Long Meadow Rd. There is NO CAUSE FOR ALARM at this time. If conditions change, we will send an additional Nixle alert.  Next update will be sent at 5PM.  Once again, the fire breaks are holding and containing the fire. There is no immediate concern that properties in Tuxedo are at risk at this time.
