Local Smoke Conditions due to West Milford Wildfire. 
The New Jersey Forest Fire service and various partners continue to deal with the Jennings Creek Wildfire in West Milford. As a result of shifting winds, Mountain Lakes residents may see and smell smoke around the Borough. We are aware of the fire and ask that residents DO NOT call 9-1-1 unless you are experiencing an emergency. If you are sensitive to smoke conditions, please keep your windows closed.
