US 550 Red Mountain Pass CLOSED DUE TO ROCKFALL At 2:30 AM, Wed. 11/13– US 550 Red Mountain Pass is closed between Silverton and Ouray due to a rockfall. The boulder will require downsizing to remove it from the highway. Crews will begin work at first light, Wednesday morning. It is unknown when the highway will reopen. via Colorado Department of Transportation.
