Due to ongoing prepcipitation deficits and deteriorating water-supply conditions, particularly storage levels in reservoirs, the NJ Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has issued a statewide drought warning. In an effort to preserve available water supplies, the Borough of Matawan is strongly encouraging all residents to eliminate unncessary water usage. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
