SUMMARY: On November 12, 2024, at 1:55 p.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious device located underneath a vehicle. The vehicle was at an auto repair shop and the device was located by an employee. Several nearby businesses were evacuated as a precaution. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Arson/Bomb detail responded and rendered the device safe. The circumstances surrounding the device and its placement underneath the vehicle are under investigation.
