Full Notification

The fire is well contained on the Tuxedo side of the mountain.  There will be some residual fire and smoke in the area of Long Meadow Rd. north of Blue Lake Rd. due to offensive firefighting tactics. This is expected to continue into the next  couple of days until all remaining fuels are purposely burned off in this specific area.  There is no cause for alarm within the confines of the Town of Tuxedo.  Our firefighters have been working very hard to ensure our safety and we are extremely proud and thankful of their collective efforts.  More updates to follow.  If you see a firefighter, stop and thank them.
