Wilmington Police have arrested a man on a gun charge.
On November 10, at approximately 12:10 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division were in the area of West 6th and North Monroe Streets when they observed a male subject acting in a suspicious manner. Police made contact with 54-year-old Darrell Beaman, who was taken into custody without incident, and found to be in possession of a loaded 5.7x28mm handgun.
Beaman has been charged with the following offense:
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
