The Green Bay Police Department has arrested a 32-year-old Green Bay man following a reported verbal disturbance at the A-1 Tower Motel, 2625 Humboldt Road.
Officers were called out shortly after 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2024, when witnesses had heard yelling between the suspect and other people outside of the motel.
Police were told that the suspect was making threats of violence with a knife in his possession.
Following the disturbance, the suspect went into his room with another person.
GBPD SWAT and Crisis Negotiation Team responded to the scene to assist in a peaceful surrender.
The suspect was taken into custody just before 5:45 p.m. without further incident.
No injuries were reported.
The GBPD will be referring charges to the Brown County District Attorney’s Office.
