The Wilmington Police Department’s Cold Case Unit is asking the assistance of the public in connection to the 2020 murder of Raquan Davis.

On October 25, 2020, at approximately 4:13 p.m., police responded to the 2300 block of East 23^rd Street, in reference to a shots fired incident. Upon arrival, officers located 24-year-old Raquan Davis, who had been shot and later succumbed to his injuries. 

This investigation remains ongoing, and investigators are asking the public for assistance.

The Wilmington Police Department’s Cold Case Unit is part of the department’s Criminal Investigations Division.

The Unit typically handles cases that have remained unsolved after a year, and after all investigative leads have been exhausted by the primary investigator.
