INCIDENT: V.C 23153(A)- Driving Under the Influence Causing Injury
LOCATION: La Mesa Road/Topaz Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Alfredo Parga, 49-year-old Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Saturday, November 16, 2024, at approximately 8:47 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the intersection of La Mesa Road and Topaz Road for a two-vehicle traffic collision.
A witness flagged down arriving deputies and pointed out a Hispanic male, later identified as Alfredo Parga, who was running from the crash. Through investigation, it was determined Parga was driving a 2005 Ford E350 and crashed into another vehicle. Parga fled from the scene on foot but was taken into custody a short distance away. The victim of the second vehicle was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Alfredo Parga was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for V.C 23153(A)- Driving Under the Influence Causing Injury.
