Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda requests the public’s help identifying the three below-pictured suspects in connection with a robbery that occurred on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
At approximately 1:55 a.m., a man awaiting a taxi in the 200 block of Park Avenue near 6th Street, was approached by three males who ripped off his necklace, stole $400.00 in cash from him, and physically assaulted him before fleeing northbound on North 6th Street.
Detectives investigating this incident describe the suspects as three Black males.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information regarding the identity of either of these suspects to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS(1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
