Johnson Charged with Possession of Meth
Detective David Jones with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office Community Impact Team charged 54-year-old Scotty Lee Johnson of Nebo with felony Possession of Methamphetamine. He was given a secured bond of $10,000.
On October 24, Detective Jones and Deputy Caleb Baliles conducted a traffic stop on Pinnacle Church Road. A K9 sniff was conducted on the vehicle where there was a positive alert. Upon a search of Johnson and the vehicle, methamphetamine was found and seized.
Johnson was arrested and transported to the McDowell County jail.
