Crossbow Theft from Car Leads to Felony Charge for Tolhurst
Deputy Caleb Baliles charged 60-year-old Alfred Lorne Tolhurst of Marion with felony Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle. He was given a secured bond in the amount of $20,000.
On October 4, Deputy Baliles spoke with a Marion woman who reported that Tolhurst had broken into her vehicle and removed a crossbow. The crossbow was recovered and returned to the owner.
