1. Robbery (1828) 2700 Block of Country Club Boulevard, Civic District
The female victim, 46, was working in the area when the suspect demanded property. The victim complied, and the suspect fled with the property. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
2. Homicide (1844) East Park Street and North California Street, Civic District
The male victims, 30 and 18, were in the area when an unknown suspect shot them. The victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment. The 18-year-old victim expected to survive a gunshot wound, and the 30-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries. Detectives responded to the investigation.
3. Attempted Robbery (2030) 2300 Block of Pacific Avenue, Civic District
The male victim, 30, was working in the area when the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded property. When the victim refused, the suspect fled on a bicycle. SUSPECT: White male adult.
4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0110) 1000 North Wilson Way, Park District
The victim, 42, and the suspect got into a physical confrontation. During the confrontation, the suspect hit the victim with an object. ARRESTED: Alejandro Serrano, 19, for assault with a deadly weapon.
