UPDATE: ROADS ARE REOPENED
MERIDIAN POLICE RESPOND TO CRASH ON E AMITY RD. – ROAD CLOSURES IN EFFECT
MERIDIAN- Officers are currently working on a crash on East Amity Road in Meridian. The Meridian Police and Fire Departments, along with Ada County paramedics and Idaho Power, have responded to the scene.
Due to the crash, westbound traffic on Amity Road from Eagle, and Eastbound traffic at Montague are closed. These roads will remain closed for several hours while repairs to a downed power pole are underway.
Meridian Police and Idaho Power remain on scene. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes. Updates will be provided when the roads reopen.
