Curbside leaf pick-up will occur on Monday, December 2nd. Residents must place their leaves in biodegradable paper bags and place them curbside by 6am. Blue Diamond will pick up the bags on Monday only. There is no limit to the number of bags that will be picked up.

 

If a resident misses the pick-up, residents may bring their leaves to the Township Recycling Center (located at 10 Mansfield Drive) during daylight hours, weather dependent. Please note this area will close for the winter season, on approximately Saturday, December 16th, weather dependent. The leaves may be either loose or in biodegradable paper bags; leaves in plastic bags will not be accepted. In addition, leaves brought by contractors will not be accepted. 
 

Please do not place piles of leaves on the sides of the roadway or curbside as this has the potential to become a hazard to pedestrians, motorists, and snow/ice removal operations.
 

Residents may also elect to bring their leaves to the Sussex County Utilities Municipal Authority (SCMUA) for disposal. Please note there is a fee to do this. Please contact 973-579-6998 or visit their website at www.scmua.org.
