MISSING PERSON(S): Rebecca Gutierrez, 16-year-old Female
UPDATE: On November 19, 2024, at approximately 10:34 a.m., members of the Sheriff’s Dive Team located Rebecca in the California Aqueduct, in Hesperia. Rebecca was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of death. No further information is available at this time.
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Rebecca Gutierrez was reported missing from her family’s residence on Honeysuckle Avenue, in the city of Hesperia. Gutierrez was last seen in person on November 11, 2024, in the later hours of the night and last communicated with her family on the morning of November 12, 2024.
Rebecca Gutierrez is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 5’6 tall and 110 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. It is unknown at this time what clothing Rebecca was wearing. Rebecca’s destination is unknown.
