1. Robbery Arrest (0629) 100 Block of South Wilson Way, Park District
The employee victim, 60, confronted a shoplifted suspect when the suspect brandished a firearm at him. The victim fled and called the police. The responding officer took the suspect into custody without incident and recovered the handgun. ARRESTED: Carlos Aguirre, 20, for robbery and weapon violations.
