1. Pursuit and Weapons Arrest (1355) East Miner Avenue and North Aurora Street, Civic District
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The male driver fled from the vehicle and was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit and struggle. The male was found to have a firearm. A female passenger drove the vehicle away, leading officers in a brief pursuit. The female pulled over and was taken into custody. A 7-month-old child was in the vehicle.
ARRESTED: #1 Jeremiah Charles, 20, for resisting and weapons charges. #2 Anastasha Evan, 20, for evading and child endangerment.
