Special Weather Statement until 03:00PM

At 224 PM EST, an area of snow showers was located along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Richwood to near Quinwood to near Piney View. Movement was east at 35 mph. Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this area of heavy snow. Locations impacted include... Rainelle... Rupert... Quinwood... Renick... Falling Spring... Beartown State Park... and Trout. Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a half a mile in this area of snow showers. Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra time when traveling.
