Update to Arrest of David Hughes and Theresa Wilkins arrest yesterday afternoon by the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office and Indiana State Police.
On November 20, 2024, at approximately 1 p.m. the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office and Indiana State Police partnered together to serve a search warrant on the David Hughes residence located in the 1000 block of East 50 North near Oakland City. One of the purposes of this investigation was to investigate further the location of missing person Lora Overton who would be 62 at the time of this release. Ms. Overton was reported missing June 7th of this year. During the execution of this search warrant Mr. Hughes age 58 was arrested on yesterday on an unrelated Possession of a Firearm by a Felon Charge. Also arrested yesterday was Ms. Theresa Wilkins age 57 on an unrelated Identity Theft warrant out of Saline County, Illinois.
Lora Ann Overton
Aka Lora Ann Ridgely is a Caucasian Female that is approximately 5’02” in height and weighed approximately 100 pounds. Ms. Overton is known to have blonde hair and brown eyes.
