Wilmington Police arrest man in connection to multiple burglary incidents:
Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection to multiple burglary incidents.
On November 19, at approximately 9:00 a.m., members of the Special Operations Division responded to the 200 block of West 9th Street in reference to a burglary. On November 20, at approximately 7:15 a.m., members of the Special Operations Division responded to the 600 block of North Market Street in reference to a burglary. Through the course of their investigation, police obtained a description of the suspect. A short time later, officers were in the 800 block of North West Street when they observed a male subject matching the suspect description. Police attempted to make contact with the subject, who fled on foot. Following a brief foot pursuit, 52-year-old Charles Taylor was taken into custody without incident.
Taylor has been charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary (Third Degree) – Two Counts
- Theft Over $1,500
- Theft Under $1,5000
- Resisting Arrest
