Drug Charges for Queen and Morganton Man
Deputy Robert Watson with McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Jason Jeffrey Spencer, 41, of Morganton with felony Possession of Methamphetamine and felony Possession of a Firearm by Felon. He was issued a secured bond in the amount of $35,000.
Deputy Watson also charged 27-year-old Tequila Cheyenne Queen of Marion with felony Possession of Methamphetamine. She was given no bond due to already being out on pretrial release.
On November 10, Deputy Watson conducted a traffic stop on Spencer and Queen near Exit 85 on I-40.
A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up drug paraphernalia, suspected amounts of methamphetamine, and a flare gun that had been modified into a firearm.
N.C. State Highway Patrol assisted in the incident.
