Jonesboro High School’s Majestic Marching Cardinals are representing Clayton County this Week in New York. SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN

SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN and the Clayton County Sheriff's Office are excited to share some outstanding news about our community!

This week, Jonesboro High School's Majestic Marching Cardinals are proudly representing Clayton County on one of the most prestigious stages in the world: the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City!

Today, the citizens of Clayton County came together on Tara Blvd to cheer for these talented young musicians as they departed for this monumental journey. The support from the community is a shining example of what it means to foster unity and pride in our home.

From a safety perspective, the Clayton County Sheriff's Office, Clayton County Police Department, Jonesboro Police Department, and Chief of Schools Police Reynard Walker worked collaboratively to ensure the safety of our students as they embarked on this exciting venture.

This achievement reflects the incredible dedication, passion, and resilience of the Majestic Marching Cardinals and the unwavering support from their parents, educators, and the broader Clayton County community.
