November 22, 2024:

  • Officer Bean was dispatched to South Cooper Street and East Washington Avenue for disorderly subjects. A 15-year-old male and a 17-year-old male received citations for being minors in possession of tobacco products. A 19-year-old male received a citation for being a minor in possession of alcohol, and was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon.
  • Officer Tripp conducted a traffic stop near North Jackson Street and West Michigan Avenue. A 39-year-old male was arrested for violating a personal protection order.
  • Officers responded to the 100 block of East Michigan Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 63-year-old female was arrested for conditional bond violation.
  • Sergeant Burkart and Officer Simon were dispatched to the 500 block of West Ganson Street for a traffic crash. A 17-year-old male was lodged at JCYC for resisting and obstructing, and carrying a concealed weapon. A 15-year-old male was lodged at JCYC for carrying a concealed weapon, and an outstanding juvenile warrant.
  • Officer Panther conducted a traffic stop at Maple Avenue and West Morrell Street. The 27-year-old male driver was arrested for careless driving, and possession of narcotics.
  • Officer Morse responded to a domestic dispute in the 300 block of First Street. A 35-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault – strangulation.
  • JPD members attended the Christmas Parade downtown.
November 23, 2024:  
  • Officer Tenney was dispatched to the 800 block of Bush Street for a personal welfare check. A 27-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault, and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
  • Officer Simon responded to the 300 block of Van Buren Street for a domestic situation. A 22-year-old male was arrested for felonious assault; malicious destruction of property; and resisting and obstructing.
  • Officer Farnsworth and Officer Tripp were dispatched to the 300 block of Steward Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 31-year-old female was arrested for trespassing, disguising, and conditional bond violation. A 43-year-old male was arrested for trespassing, and possession of narcotics.
November 24, 2024:
  • Officer Fugate and Officer Tenney responded to the 200 block of North Elm Street for a disorderly subject. A 28-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding felony warrants.
  • Officer Bean made contact with subjects in the 600 block of Oakhill Avenue. A 19-year-old male was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, and resisting and obstructing. A 15-year-old male received a citation for resisting and obstructing.
  • Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Van Dorn Street for a domestic dispute. The 31-year-old male suspect left prior to officers’ arrival, and has not been located.
  • Officer Cantu conducted a traffic stop near North West Avenue and Wildwood Avenue. The 26-year-old male driver was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
  • Officer Simon responded to the 900 block of Backus Street for a stolen vehicle report. Officer Panther located the vehicle in the 700 block of Lansing Avenue. A 44-year-old male was arrested for unlawfully driving away an automobile; receiving and concealing a stolen motor vehicle; and several outstanding warrants.
  • Officer Cantu made contact with subjects in the 200 block of West Michigan Avenue. A 44-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding felony warrants.
  • Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East Wesley Street for disorderly subjects. A 39-year-old female was arrested for possession of narcotics, smuggling contraband into the jail, and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
  • Officer Tripp conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of North West Avenue. The 29-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated – 2nd offense.
