Deputies Respond to a Domestic Disturbance and Arrest Three People for Child Endangerment

DATE/TIME: Monday, November 25, 2024, at approximately 2:55 a.m.

INCIDENT: PC 273A - Cruelty to Child

LOCATION: 1000 Block of Lillyhill Dr., Needles, CA 92363

SUSPECT(S): Guadalupe Lozano, 35-years-old, Resident of Needles Josephine Baumgartner, 23-years-old, Resident of Needles
Johanna Baumgartner, 23-years-old, Resident of Needles

VICTIM(S): Confidential


SUMMARY: On Monday, November 25, 2024, deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to the area in the 1000 block of Lillyhill Dr., reference a report of a domestic disturbance involving a male assaulting a female and forcibly taking the female into a nearby apartment.

Deputies and detectives served a search warrant and contacted Guadalupe Lozano, Josephine Baumgartner, Johanna Baumgartner, and a infant child inside of the residence.

Guadalupe Lozano was arrested for a violation of PC 273A (a) - Child Endangerment, and PC 273.5 - Domestic Violence and was subsequently transported and booked into the Colorado River Station jail, and remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail in the amount of $100,000.00, pending further court proceedings.

Josephine Baumgartner and Johanna Baumgartner were arrested for a violation of PC 273A (a) - Child Endangerment, and were subsequently transported and booked into the Colorado River Station jail, and remain in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail in the amount of $100,000 each, pending further court proceedings.
