Coyote seen in the Manor 
Today at about 4:10 pm, SLPD received reports of a coyote sighting in the Washington Manor neighborhood. Patrol officers responded to the area and saw the coyotein the vicinity of Bethany Street near Drake Avenue, but it was too elusive to capture. The coyote looks young and does appear to be injured. The Department of Fish and Game has advised to leave the animal be and let it return to its habitat. Officers will continue to monitor the area and respond to any sightings. Please do not approach the animal and make sure youre dogs are on leash if you are walking in the area. The animal was last seen in the area of Redwood and Locust.
