TV Theft Leads to Felony Charges
Detective Aaron Vallini with McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Chance Alan Crisp, 28, of Morganton, with felony Breaking and/or Entering, felony Larceny After Breaking and/or Entering and felony Obtaining Property Under False Pretense. He was given a secured bond in the amount of $5,000.
On November 1, Deputy Gage Honeycutt responded to a Marion residence in reference to a larceny. It was reported by the victim that Crisp broke into her home, removed two TVs and removed a security camera from the back door.
Footage from the camera led to his arrest.
