Thanksgiving Holiday Closures and Service Updates

Please note the following updates regarding township offices and services during the Thanksgiving holiday:

• Office Closures: Washington Township offices, including Township Hall and the Department of Public Works, will be closed on Nov. 28 and 29 for Thanksgiving. There is a 24 Hour Drop Box located at the Washington Township Municipal Hall Front Door.

• Emergency Services: For emergencies, please dial 911. For non-emergency calls, dial 586-469-5151.

• Waste Collection: There will be no Priority Waste collection on Thursday, Nov. 28. All Thursday and Friday collections will be delayed by one day this week.

• Yard Waste Collection: The final week for curbside yard waste collection is Dec. 9th through 13th. After that, yard waste collection will resume on March 31, 2025.
