This is a message from the Matawan Police Department and the Office of Emergency Management:

Tomorrow, Saturday, November 30th, the Matawan Recreation Commission will hold its annual Turkey Trot 5K Run and Fitness Walk. For the safety of the participants, the following roads will be closed from about 7:30 am until the conclusion of the event at approximately 11:00 am.

Jackson Street from Church Street to Ravine Drive,
Washington Ave.,
Grant Street,
Harding Blvd.,
Union Street,
Chestnut Drive,
Daniel Drive,
Mohawk Drive,
Fawn Drive,
Indian Trail,
Ravine Drive,

To accommodate this event and minimize inconvenience, anyone travelling within the affected areas, please plan your travel with these road closures in mind.  Thank you for your cooperation and have a happy and safe holiday season.
