...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to two inches.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Kansas and north
  central, northwest, and west central Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM CST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

Comment:  Snow will occur in bands throughout the day.  Oak Grove - Bates City expected accumulation is 1 to 2 inches.  Higher amounts are expected to the east along I-70, with 3 to 4 inches possible from Marshall, east through Columbia through St. Louis where 3 to 5 inches are possible.

A Winter Weather Advisory is issued when winter weather including snow or ice is expected or ongoing that may make travel difficult.
