1. Robbery (1759) 3800 Block of East Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District
The female victim, 54, was working at an area business when the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded property. The victim complied, and the suspect fled with the stolen property. SUSPECT: Unknown race male.
2. Robbery (1932) 5100 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
The male victim, 17, was near the listed location when the suspect assaulted him. Several other suspects searched the victim's pockets and fled with his property. SUSPECTS: Several juvenile males.
3. Shooting into a Vehicle (2245) Airport Way and Flora Street, Park District
The male victim, 40, was in the listed area when they heard gunshots. The victim’s vehicle was struck but he was not injured. There is no suspect information.
4. Resisting Arrest (2342) 600 Block of West Martin Luther King Boulevard, Seaport District
Officers responded to an area business on a report of a suspect trespassing. They contacted the suspect, who refused to comply, and force was used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Steve Meraz, 35, for trespassing, false identification, and resisting arrest.
5. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0100) 300 Block of South Commerce Street, Seaport District
The female victim, 47, was in the listed area when she was involved in an altercation with the known suspect, who assaulted her and struck her with an object. The victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. ARRESTED: Therea Suggs, 51, for assault with a deadly weapon.
6. Resisting Arrest (0600) 4900 Block of West Lane, Valley Oak District
Officers responded to an area business on a report of an audible alarm. Upon arrival, they located a broken window. Officers checked the area and located the suspect, who fled and was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. ARRESTED: David Lee, 38, for vandalism, resisting arrest and warrants.
