Evansville woman arrested for driving on a suspended license.
On November 30, 2024, at 8:01 a.m. Deputy Wesley Baumgart conducted a traffic stop on a Blue 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan after observing the vehicle on State Road 168 without a valid registration plate. Deputy Baumgart stopped the vehicle near County Road 50 West, and upon approaching the vehicle he identified the driver as 40 year old Amanda Hardiman of Evansville. During a roadside investigation Deputy Baumgart ran Ms. Hardiman through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and determined that she was operating the vehicle with a license that had been suspended on a prior driving while suspended conviction. At that point Deputy Baumgart placed Ms. Hardiman into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Driving While Suspended Prior.
