Press Release: Subject arrested and charged following a burglary to a residence

ACCUSED: Nasyr D Fisher. Age 20, Neptune. NJ
NARRATIVE:
On November 26, 2024 at approximately 15:34 hours officers were dispatched to a residence on Lady Bess Drive in Deal Harbor for a report of someone trying to break into the residence. Upon arrival officers located an open rear window and observed a suspect inside the residence. Officers immediately surrounded the residence and made entry through the front door. The suspect was located hiding inside a second-floor bedroom and was arrested without incident. Further investigation revealed the subject committed a second residential burglary in a home next door and evidence was located of a burglary in another jurisdiction.
The accused was transported to Deal Police Headquarters for processing. He was subsequently charged with 2 counts of burglary, 2 counts of trespassing, obstruction, criminal mischief, and receiving stolen property. He was committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a court date. We would like to thank the Township of Ocean Police Department and Allenhurst Police Department for their assistance.
Despite these charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of the rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and State Law.
