* WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, visibility one to two miles in dense fog. For the Air Stagnation Advisory in valleys, an extended period of stagnant air, with light winds and little vertical mixing. This is due to an inversion near the surface that will continue to trap pollutants.
* WHERE...Lower Treasure Valley Zones.
* WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 11 AM MST Monday. For the Air Stagnation Advisory, until 9 PM MST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Poor air quality may cause issues for people with respiratory problems. Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous especially along Interstate 84 from Fruitland, Idaho through Huntington, Oregon.
* AFFECTED AREAS: LOWER TREASURE VALLEY ... OREGON LOWER TREASURE VALLEY

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. State air quality agencies highly recommend that no outdoor burning occur and that residential wood burning devices be limited as much as possible. According to state air quality agencies, prolonged periods of stagnant air can hold pollutants close to the ground where people live and breathe. Check with your local burn agency for any current restrictions in your area.
