November 27, 2024:

  • Officer Fugate made contact with a subject in the 1200 block of Merriman Street. A 22-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding felony warrants. Charges will be sought on the male for possessing narcotics.
  • Officer Tenney was dispatched to North Wisner Street and West Argyle Street for a personal welfare check on a subject in a vehicle. The 41-year-old female driver was arrested for driving under the influence of narcotics – 2nd offense.
  • Officer Fugate and Officer Reynaga responded to the 900 block of Third Street for a domestic assault report. A 23-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault – strangulation.
  • Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 700 block of Gettysburg Avenue. A 27-year-old male was arrested for home invasion; domestic assault; and violating a personal protection order.
  • Officers responded to the 200 block of South Jackson Street for a disorderly subject. A 27-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants.
  • Officer Cantu conducted a traffic stop near Fourth Street and West Franklin Street. The 34-year-old female driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
  • Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East Michigan Avenue for a weapons complaint. A 30-year-old male was arrested for resisting and obstructing; carrying a concealed weapon; being a felon in possession of a firearm; being a felon in possession of ammunition; possession of a stolen firearm; and felony firearm.
  • Officers responded to the 700 block of West Franklin Street for an arson that just occurred. A 58-year-old male was arrested for arson; domestic assault; resisting and obstructing; and assault on a police officer.
November 28, 2024:
  • Officer Tenney was dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 300 block of Van Buren Street. A 28-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
  • Officers attended the Turkey Trot downtown.
  • Officers responded to an overdose in the 700 block of Blair Park Drive. The 30-year-old female victim was treated by JCA.
November 29, 2024:
  • Officer Mills conducted a traffic stop near East Michigan Avenue and North Perrine Street. A 42-year-old female was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants.
  • Officer Vernier was dispatched to the Jackson Crossing Mall for a subject shoplifting. A 38-year-old male was arrested for retail fraud, and conditional bond violation.
  • Officer Reasoner responded to an overdose in the 100 block of East Addison Street. A 53-year-old female was transported to the hospital.
  • Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West Franklin Street for a domestic dispute. A 54-year-old female was arrested for conditional bond violation.
November 30, 2024:
  • Officers responded to the 200 block of West Michigan Avenue for a property security check.
  • Officer Bean was dispatched to the 1700 block of Fourth Street for a personal welfare check. A 29-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
  • Officers responded to Damon Street and Merriman Street for shots fired. Casings were located in the area.
  • Officer Vernier was dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 700 block of Edgewood Street. The 25-year-old male suspect left prior to officers’ arrival. Domestic assault charges will be sought on the male.
December 1, 2024:
  • Officer Goings responded to the 300 block of Bates Street for a personal welfare check. A 29-year-old male was arrested for 3rd degree child abuse.
  • Officer Brooker was dispatched to the 200 block of Janke Street for a disorderly subject. A 51-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
  • Officer Justice and Officer Schram responded to the 800 block of Carl Breeding Way for disorderly subjects. A 51-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics, and multiple outstanding felony warrants.
  • Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive for shots fired. A residence was struck, and casings were located in the area.
