PC 288.3(a) Contacting a Minor for Sexual Offense
LOCATION: City of Chino Hills
SUSPECT: Timothy Holub, 35-year-old, resident of Chino Hills
SUMMARY: On October 19, 2023, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Specialized Investigations Division, Crimes Against Children Detail, began an investigation after the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) reported a 33-year-old male was having inappropriate online communication with a 16-year-old minor.
During the investigation, law enforcement identified the adult male as Timothy Holub with the online screenname httechtim5. During the online communication, Holub asked the minor to engage in lewd acts. At the conclusion of the investigation, Holub was arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga for violation of PC 311.11(c)(1) Possession of Child Pornography,
PC 288.2(a)(2) Distributing or Showing Pornography to a Minor, and
PC 288.3(a) Contacting a Minor for Sexual Offense, in lieu of $60,000 bail.
Detectives believe there may be additional victims and are releasing Holub’s photograph.
