• Use space heaters only as a supplementary source of heat, not as your primary heat source
• Keep space heaters at least 3-ft. away from bedding, clothing, curtains, furniture, rugs, and any other combustible materials
• Don’t leave space heaters unattended, especially where children or pets are left unsupervised
• Don’t plug space heaters into an extension cord. Only plug your heaters directly into an outlet
