Community members are advised there has been a serious motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Pelhamdale Avenue and Shore Road. First responders are on the scene, and it is anticipated they will continue to be on the scene for the next several hours. Investigations are currently underway.
The intersection is not accessible and the area should be avoided. There are Police Officers on the scene directing traffic at all approaches to the area. Access to Shore Park and the New York Athletic Club is possible through Roosevelt Avenue.
