Detective Michael Vaughn with McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 29-year-old Brittany Finley of Marion with felony Larceny of a Motor Vehicle. She was issued a secured bond in the amount of $5,000.
On December 21, 2023, Deputy Alicia Lund spoke with an individual regarding a stolen vehicle. The owner of the car stated Finley removed the vehicle from her property without permission.
The car, a white Crown Victoria, was located on Mashburn Branch Road and returned to the owner. A further investigation led to the felony charge against Finley.
