Alert

Special Weather Statement until 11:00AM

Scattered snow showers and snow squalls will be impacting the morning commute. Bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading to blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility will make travel difficult and potentially dangerous at times. If you encounter a snow shower or a snow squall, slow down and turn on your headlights. During snow squalls, the visibility may suddenly drop to near zero in whiteout conditions. In some cases, precipitation may begin as rain, but change over to snow. Be alert for sudden change in visibilities and conditions. Leave extra time for travel this morning.
