Heads-Up, Neighbors! Let’s Talk Winter Tax Bills

We’ve been hearing some buzz about the Winter tax bills, so let’s break it down together. Yes, there’s an increase this cycle – but don’t worry, it all evens out! You’ll see relief on your Summer tax bills, making it a net-zero change.

Here’s the scoop:

Safety First! This assessment helps fund our amazing Police and Fire teams, so they can keep doing what they do best – keeping our city safe and sound. Back in November 2019, voters approved this measure in an advisory vote to ensure our Public Safety sector gets the resources it needs.

It’s a Wash! What goes up in the Winter comes back down in the Summer. The mills increased on your Winter bill will decrease on your Summer bill by the exact same amount.

There is NO INCREASE on the mills levied on your property!
